lautzki
Hello, I recently installed Windows 7 on the same HDD my OS X Mavericks is on, different partition though of course. It was only after the installation that I realized I'm going to lose my OS X boot. Facts: - I have OS X Mavericks 10.9.0 - Chimera bootloader - Operation systems on the same HDD, but different partitions Is there a way out of this? Could I just install Chameleon in Windows and it would work?

MacUser2525
Boot with your installer that was used originally select the OSX on the HD as source to boot from once into your OSX install re-install the boot loader you want to use.
RobertX
...just a thought, installing windows may have reset the active partition...in windows, see if you can set the mac partition active again...i can't recall if windows will see the partition if it doesn't have a drive letter...
