Hey, having a bit trouble with my usb keyboard after installing yosemite

Issue:

- at boot selection clover disables usb keyboard so I have to unplug and plug back after booting to get it working

(it goes off right when clover starts up)

device is properly working in os tho.

other usb devices are working fine including mouse at boot selection

it was not an issue with a previous mavericks installation (was clover as well)

could anyone put me in the right direction where to fix and how?

thanks, do you know how its possible to add this settings to a current install?

For me the fix was ticking Clover -> Driver64 -> XhciDxe-64 when installing Clover.

My clover install consists of boot0af, CloverEFI 64bits SATA, XhciDxe-64, OsxAptioFixDrv-64 and PartitionDxe-64

Cheers, this solved it for me as well on a Z87N-WiFi (although I havn+t checked if USB3 is actually working, but all the ports are working again at 2.0)

I've also deleted GenericUSBXHCI.kext and used XhciDxe-64 instead. You can use XhciDxe-64 on a UEFI boot by unticking "Install for UEFI Booting only" in Clover setup. Your UEFI boot will still continue to function fine.

Also, a side effect of using XhciDXE-64.efi is that the long pause after shutdown I've experienced with Yosemite, has been fixed.

EDIT: And sleep works perfectly now.
