For those who still suffer from glitch during Apple Wellcome Icon and Login Desktop : Please try ig-platform-id= 0x0a260000 instead of 0x0a260005 or 0a260006 because I have tried many before and found/confirmed this is the most stable for Mobile HD4600 (04168086) laptop of mine. For Desktop HD4600 (04128086) 0x0c260000 and 0a160000 are most stable for mine. If the above not working, that means you should try another one for yours. netkrash Posted September 25, 2014 Share Posted September 25, 2014 that patch is only for Yosemite, I'm still trying to get my mobile hd 4600 to work with acceleration, I have the GT2, and using those ids give me glitches, anything in the 0x0a26 range.. only thing that got to work is 0x04160000 but still without acceleration, at least I was able to set it to use 1024 vram, but is no use without acceleration.. any advice for the i7 4810-MQ haswell processor?
