MB Asus P5Q-Pro

Core 2 Duo

Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition (OOB on 10.9.4)

Audigy 2 ZS (ok con Audigy kext)

Realtek ALC1200 audio integrato (non ho installato, conoscete qualche valido kext ?)

S.O. MACOSX 10.9.4

Monitor TV Full HD

 • 1 month later...

buongiorno Fabio !

Sono francese, non parlo italiano. Posso farle una domanda? Ora parlero in inglese.

Here's my setup

ASRock Conroe1333-eSATA2

Core2Duo e 6750 @ 2,66 GHz

4Gb DDR2

Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7770 1 GB GDDR5 (2 Display Port,1 HDMI, 1 DVDI-I DL)

OS X 10.10 (problem was the same with Mavericks)

I'm trying desperately to get HDMI audio with my Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 with no success. I tied patched AppleHDA with HDEF DSDT patch but my motherboard is incompatible with that accordind to Mirone. I tried VoodooHDA but I have no output for HDMI in System Preferences. I also tried to enter my device IDs in VoodooHDA info.plist but I still have no output (analog output works fine though).

Any idea ?

thanks

Thanks for the reply :)

here you are : untouched DSDT + IOreg

PS : I have patched my AMD7000Controller.kext according to RampageDev guide http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/kext-editing/editing-atiamd-framebuffer-personality/

With the patched kext loaded, I have analog (not HDMI) audio when HDMI and/or DVI-I is connected to my TV but if I use the stock kext from OS X, I only have audio through DVI-I, not whith HDMI.

The DSDT + IOreg attached have been extracted from a non-patched AMD7000Controller.kext setup.

ALC888 Layout 9

Default ATY framebuffer :

ASCore:~ vince$ ioreg | grep ATY
    | |   |   | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@0  <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002ec, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (40068 ms), retain 8>
    | |   |   | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@1  <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002ed, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 8>
    | |   |   | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@2  <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002ee, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 8>
    | |   |   | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@3  <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002ef, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 8>

With patched  AMD7000Controller.kext, the framebuffer is Chutoro or Buri (both patched and working… sort of ;) )

I also removed AppleHDADisabler & AppleHDA. Just left VoodooHDA. With patched AppleHDA from Mirone, I have all the ouptuts but no sound at all (both in HDMI & DVI)

No change. :(

Well I made some changes to your DSDT to inject additional infos for my GFX. I also added an HDEF section. It boot fine with Chutoro loaded and correct infos in SystProfil but I still have not HDMI outputs. I don't used GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, ATIConfig or ATIPorts anymore, all this is correctly inject with this mod DSDT.

I still HAVE to use a patched framebuffer in order to have analog sound with both HDMI/DVI ! I'm lost on that point.

I just re-tried to use Mirone's AppleHDA with no sucess at all. All outputs are there but none of them works !     :wallbash::hammer:

Could you check it to see if I made mistakes ?

Thanks for time and patience ;)
