kajaba
Hello there, I have a strange problem here. I have got yosemite 10.10 DP7. Chameleon boot loader. Disabled Intel HD4000 and active Nvidia Geforce GT630. It seems there is no problem with booting. But as soon as the system wants to show desktop, it shows only blank white screen with cursor. I can move that cursor, but the desktop doesn't show. I had sometimes this kind of problem in previous versions, but booting in single mode and rebuilding cache using kextcache -prelinked-kernel and kextcache -system-caches solved it (it occurred when I changed or installed kexts). But now nothing helps. I boot with USBBusFix=Yes kext-dev-mode=1 GraphicsEnabler=No When I boot using -x the desktop shows, but the graphic acceleration is disabled (as expected) Thanks for any kind of help

kajaba
Thank you artur-pt. I am wondering if its the graphics or something else. Because I see white screen in full res and the cursor. I can move the cursor and there are no graphic artefacts. What are your experiences in this? But I'll defenitely try it.
HBP
you do not have FakeSMC loaded. so the encrypted system files are unable to be run. put FakeSMC in /S/L/E and reboot will solve the issue, same as it did for both mountain lion, lion, and Mavericks.
