Hi all. I'm new in this forum, and at first sorry for my English.

I have laptop Acer 5750G with Nvidia Geforce GT540m + Intel HD3000 (Nvidia Optimus), Core i7 2630QM.

I want to install any version of OsX which allow me to use XCode. I know, that is possible, but I dont know what about Nvidia Optimus? I simply no need for auto switching video adapters. But sometimes I need performance video adapter, then I switch from HD3000 to GT540m. Is this be possible when I install OsX to my laptop?

Just select the correct answer please.

1. I cant use GT540m on OsX. only HD3000.
2. I can use either GT540m and HD3000 by switching them via bios or via... ? . When I need performance for video, i switch GT540m and work. When I need save battery I switch HD3000.

Thanks for help.

The answer depends on the options provided in your BIOS.
