Hi, as some of you may be aware I tried to install OSX on my old laptop (HP DV6) with no avail.

Since then I have downgraded to a Packard Bell TJ68, so now I am wondering if I could run ANY version of OSX on my laptop.

The Laptops spec's are:

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4300 (2.1Ghz)

GPU: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Audio: Conextant HD Audio

WiFi: Atheros AR5B91

Lan: Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet

I've looked at some guides and studdied on the basic steps but still need a bit of help as I'm relativley new to this

(Also I don't have a Mac for Images, just a .dmg file from my friend with a Mac but unfortunatley I do not have access to his mac at the moment and I'm a bit impatient)

Okay so after some hard work I have got the laptop to boot up with OSX (Not Auto).

Here is what works:

CPU

Battery

HDD

Display (Only at 1024x768)

WiFi (Genuinely Amazed)

These work after kexts are installed:

Touch Pad (Very Broken)

Audio

Display (Maybe)

These out and out don't work

LAN

Light Up buttons (Mute, battery save, Transfer) But that was to be expected
