sebastianmuir
This is just for people to experiment with the OSX to figure if Windows or OSX suits them, and then make their next purchase accordingly. The process is only slightly complicated if you don't have a 'Blue Ray' DVD writer, because no ISO utility will write a Hackintosh (OSX) 'Installation Image File' to a USB and make that USB boot-able. The minute someone comes up with a disk utility that can write boot-able OSX image files to a USB, this should be as simple as a Windows Installation. You can install this from a Windows computer, for which you'll need the Transmac, DMG2IMG, and EasyBCD utilities, or you can install a bare-bones OSX (Kalyway Leopard OSX:http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98086-kalyway-1052-dvd-intel-amd-sse2sse3-efi-v8/) system to obtain access to all the OSX tools and then install the higher OSX versions from the Kalyway installation. The OSX utilities are Bootdiskutility, Disk Management (partition) utility, and ISO/DMG utilities. Kalyway also comes with very handy prepackaged utilities. You would first need to create an Extended-Mac Partition in either case. Below is a general outline for the process. I- You need a boot-able Hackintosh image-file to install from. If you have a 'Blue Ray' DVD writer, then all you need to is an installation '.dmg' file from http://iatkos.me , write it to a DVD, boot from it, and install it just as you'd install Windows. a) Installing from a Windows Computer: You'd need to convert the '.dmg' format to the '.img' format using the dmg2img utility, and then have an ISO utility write it to the 'Blue Ray' DVD, and then boot and install from it. b ) Installing from Kalyway or other OSX Computer: Just double click on the ',dmg' file to install from it, or use an OSX extraction/ISO utility to write to a ' Blue Ray' DVD. 1- You can use any of the iATKOS installation images at http://iatkos.me/ to install from. These have Hackintosh OS, installation, '.dmg' files (versions: Leopard to Mavericks). There are some issues with this method, though. a) If you already have a Hackintosh or an OSX installed and wish to upgrade that version to a higher version, then you can just double click on these .dmg files for installation. but, if you don't have a Blue Ray DVD writer ii) Create a Hackintosh or OSX boot-USB by writing Clover or Chameleon to a USB using Transma (Windows computer). Write the .dmg file to another USB. Boot into Hackintosh (OSX) from the Clover/Chameleon USB and then run the setup from the other USB that you wrote the .dmg file onto. 2 - Copy the Kalyway(http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98086-kalyway-1052-dvd-intel-amd-sse2sse3-efi-v8/) '.iso' file to an ordinary DVD, and boot from that DVD to install OSX Leopard on your computer. or Once, you have an OSX on your computer, you can install '.dmg' files by double clicking on them or by using the Bootdiskutility to create a boot-able-USB, writing the '.dmg' file to another USB, and booting from one USB and installing from the other USB. 3-Check for Hackintosh components available for your particular computer at :http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.7.2/Portables Since Hackintosh drivers are written by individuals, you might have to use plugin Wi-Fi/network cards if a driver hasn't yet been written for your particular hardware. 4: Dual Boot Option: Use the EasyBCD utility (http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3112-easybcd.html) and the chain.c file
Alessandro17
You can't discuss iATKOS M here because it is a commercial distribution (you must pay for it} Besides I strongly advice against it because once you pay and download you don't get any further support.
