NatsuDragneel Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 marco, l'architettura ARM è totalmente diversa da quella x86 / x64, più precisamente è diverso il modo in cui le istruzioni (CISC e RISC) della cpu compilano ed eseguono i programmi.per cui patchare il kernel potrebbe essere molto complicato, equivale a creare un emulatore per nintendo 3ds o per le nuove xbox e ps4.ciò però potrebbe essere sbaragliato dalle future cpu Amd che integreranno sia una cpu x64 che una arm, ovviamente è ancora un progetto.detto ciò, Apple avrebbe tutto da avvantaggiarsi, già si crea in casa cpu ARM per i propri iPhone ed iPad, in questo modo si creerebbe ancora di più una posizione predominante sui propri prototti.personalmente non credo che Apple per ora abbandoni Intel, ci sono dietro molte implicazioni sia a livello software che hardware.
