Hi,

I want to make an app based on Core Data, in wich I need to have multiple documents (ideally saved by the app in a given location) and a central database with metadata about those documents.
I am new to mac programming and I don't know how to do that... A cocoa document based app lacks a central database, and a single database may bring an scalability problem.

What can I do? Thanks in advance,

Rodrigo

An Application programmer, will not be able to write device driver (kext).

A  Device driver programmer, may not be able design OS kernel.

I have very high respect for those gentlemen, who created patched kernels,

and those gentlemen who mod from source and make a kext works on new release of OS.

I  can never be a OS kernel designer or able to write Kexts.

But those gentlemen, i have most respects for, cannot do what i did.

I was an application programmer,  create and design an entire business software system

from AR, AP,GL to Inventory controls, Sales Analysis, System Database Integrity check.

To allow scalability and reliability for simultaneous database access,  need special skills.

I am not one of those,   I double an average programmmer can do this.
