supraTT Posted August 1, 2014 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Has anyone been successful installed and working Maverick/Yosemite on the ASRock Z87 Extreme6? If so how you do it? with clover? Chameleon? Could you show the instruction steps of how you do it? Also do you have the DSDT.aml file? Could you upload it? I've been trying for the last 2 weeks to get to work with no avail. I've try Niresh,Tonymac86, and many Guides on this site with no success. Your help would be appreciated. C.Frio Posted August 1, 2014 Share Posted August 1, 2014 hi... do you have unlocked MSR..did you patch the bios? ..can you reach the install GUI.. for me asrock h87m pro4 is a nightmare... but,my idea is..use the Chris1111 guide , to create your USB installer ..I had success with mavericks on that MB..but only all my intends(voodoo and rt73 for wifi) without my gtx650, had to remove it to put to work,with voodoo and the wifi,so, I'm using the HD4600-DVI port (see ,I installed with the gtx plugged, I do not have experience with ATI, so try to install without it too)) and I do not use DSDT, for yosmite ,I installed with gtx650, but could't put work OK with audio and my wifi.. had success with 2 Gigabyte c.frio Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
supraTT Posted August 1, 2014 Author Share Posted August 1, 2014 Yes, I got the C state MSR unlock version of the BIOS from ASRock. They made a special version L2.35 for me. I had tried Chris1111 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299865-clover-v2k-r2780-special-edition-yosemite-beta/ . I created the USB installer but when it start to install it auto reboot.
