Dear MNSiw! How do you extracted kext from this dmg?

I use Pacifist to extract files from PKG installers.

Your method of Exhaust and AirPort app stop Wifi working during sleep and not auto start wifi at wake.
I found this PrefPane DWA solves all above issue

Hi, this forum has helped me a lot....

But the easiest way to get a Realtek (and maybe a Ralink) WiFi card to work in El Capitan, or Sierra, is to download these drivers....

Some of them are good for 10.11 and some for 10.12

I hope this helps, IAN

:)

I tried EP-MS8518 driver (same chip-set as mine) but it's not working, Sierra doesn't boot after installing it.

Its working now, here's what I did, moved wifi kext from clover/kexts/10.12 to desktop, installed it using kext utility, restarted.

On El Capitan, kext in clover worked fine, but now it should be installed to System Extension folder.

Web browser not auto redirect to login page. I'd like to be able to use my workplace's open wifi with web-based password on a regular basis, without having to manually type stuff in. It should just automatically connect to the Wifi router, go to http://1.1.1.1 or whatever, type in my password, and then everything else should just work. Is this possible?

I got have RT2870 Chipset Wifi Dongle. I use this one: http://www.insanelym...-capitan-ready/but I have a problem.

When the computer goes sleep mode. After opening, the internet connection is disconnected and the computer is not connected until you reboot. Sometimes it happens when the internet connection is interrupted randomly. I use El capitan.

  • Location:Rennes, BZH of course!

Wikidevi does not seem to list any D2 model, only:

D-Link only mention rev D1 on their web site (user manual filename + declaration of conformity dated Feb 2013); I could find no specific reference to rev D2. The support page for Rev D1 provides OS X drivers for 10.6 up to to 10.9. Mediatek web site may provide more up-to-date drivers for RT5372 though one could expect 10.9 drivers to work Ok in 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12.

Can you provide the PCI vendor/device id as listed for the device in SysProfiler->USB tab? That would help to identify the chipset.

Edit: Found a reference to rev D2 (dated 2015) in a Russian D-Link ftp link: http://ftp.dlink.ru/...e for V4.04.pdf

These Release Notes state that: "D1 and D2’s FW and HW are the same, D2 for EU only"

As such, you can expect D2 model to have same pci ids as D1 model and you can re-use the same drivers. They're also available on the same russian site: http://ftp.dlink.ru/...WA-140/Drivers/

You guys may want to make a bacukp of these drivers somewhere...
