redneck Posted July 29, 2014 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I have windows 8 , Maverick and Yosemite install on 2 sata HD. Boot graphics starts at 1024x768. I have tried for a long time to change . used many suggestions here. it boots at 1024x768. with blank spot on left side of screen. loaded all kinds of text. use Chameleon wizard i have use boot flags, changed themes .edited all the playlist i use at 42 Sharp lcd monitor. windows boots to 1360x768x32. redneck Posted July 30, 2014 Author Share Posted July 30, 2014 OK I'm Dumb. my sharp monitor has 2 modes 1366 or 1024. so for a week i've tried to get 1366 mode. I learned today my video is not capable of 1300's in Mac Graphics Mode = only 800,1024 ,1200 or 1900 . type > ?video > at boot will tell you your video choices. so i'm stuck with 1024 in Mac but why can i get 1360 in Windows?
