Hey, I am kind of editor in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Vegas, FL studio, Cubase and I want to know if in hackintoss, those software will run better. Thanks!!!

Now I have old PC, and in few days I need to got my powerful computer and I need your opinion what to install

Almost the same thing, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, but these others app i don't know, but i believe that Vegas doens't work... but you have iMovie or FCPX and Motion to video editing...

 

A old PC isn't enough to run OSX, sorry man, but only FCPX consume 1.5 GB... and actuall Apple SOs(ML/MV and YT)need a minimum of 2GB of memory

 

But show to us your PC specs

Some advices:

 

I'd buy a Corsair Hydro Series for water coller, H100i is great

And i'd buy a OCZ or Corsair PSU of 750w...

 

Just what i think... but hardware that you gonna choose is great

I do not remmember but Im not going to use it.

So you thibk this will run hackintosh snooth like it will run windows? Or the windows will be better?

That depends on your ability to set up OS X correctly for your hardware. The ball is in your half of the court, get going and let us know how it works out.

 

If you get it up and running with OS X and everything is working well, then yes, it's possible that you'll enjoy working in OS X more than you do on Windows. But this is due to the user interface more than anything, at least it should be, if you put some effort into getting used to it.

To me it's not so much about "performance" as it is about workflow. When using the productivity software that you mentioned, performance should be largely the same as it is on Windows - provided that OS X is set up properly to run well on your hardware. At least that's my experience. If you can't get used to actually doing your work on OS X, which is very different from Windows..then it doesn't matter how well it runs. Right?

 

Your CPUs integrated Intel HD4600 video will work fine with Mavericks but if you're working with graphics and video you should consider getting a real GPU, preferably Nvidia so you can use CUDA.

You mentioned Cubase, what sort of audio interface do you have? Most popular outboard USB or Firewire audio interfaces have OS X drivers available, but if it's a PCI card you could be in trouble.

Your on-board audio can work, but you'll see higher CPU usage and latency when recording and playing software instruments via MIDI.

Like Windows never will be in my concept, because in Windows everything is native 100%, but in OSX not... Maximum is 99%

 

Of Course OSX is better than Windows in many things... but in compatibility with our generic hardware, maybe never will be...

 

Anyway, hack is a hooby and very good to use and as i said to you before... hardware that i'll buy is very good!
