timohour Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Hi all, I am facing a sleep problem when I add my second XFX R9-280x 3GB to my system. My system: Asus P9X79 Deluxe i7-3970X @ 3.5GHz 4 x 4GB 1600MHz 2 x XFX R9-280x 3 x 2TB Software-RAID0 This is my build primarily for video editing. I installed 10.9, updated to 10.9.4 I use clover bootloader (chameleon requires sleep trick to enable my screen after cold boot). Everything worked fine (QE/CI, sleep etc) with one card attached. When I try to add my second XFX 280x 3GB (identical with No1) my computer works perfectly OpenCL score doubles (rated with LuxMark app) but it won’t wake up from sleep. I tried to place it in a different PCI-E slot but nothing changed. I also tried to boot with and without a screen attached on the 2nd card but nothing changed. In the System Profile I can see both my cards recognised as 7XXX 3GB. Although the first one seems to be on Slot-1 the second one doesn't seem to connected to any slot. Any ideas?
