AMD Build reboots when booting Mavericks OS X Installer from USB

Do I need to use a special kernel or something to boot the OS X Mavericks Installer from USB on this AMD Build which has a ASRock 970Extreme3 Motherboard and a AMD FX4300 Quad-Core CPU?

Here's what I see on Clover's UEFI screen:

I followed this guide, located here, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298074-guide-create-boot-usb-installer-os-x-mavericks-on-windows/ , and made two USB drives, one to run Clover and one to hold the OS X Installation USB. Clover boots the installer as follows:

But then I get a reboot. Bummer.

Back in clover, I select the verbose option:

and I get the following:

...but then it freezes and volia. Back to UEFI splash.

Apparently I need a AMD Kernel for this to work but I'm not sure how to get the kernel booted. Could someone help me through this (as in, where to put the kernel so Clover can boot it) ?

Rig Configuration:

ASROCK Extreme3 970 Motherboard

4GB DDR3 Corsair Memory

Boot USB is in USB2.0 Ports on back of Motherboard

No HDD (barebones configuration, to check compatibility)

OS Trying to Boot:

Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.2

Thanks guys!

EDIT 1: I see there's a AMD kernel here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/255-amd-kernel-for-mavericks-109109110921093/ but how do I apply this so the installer can use it?

EDIT 2: Got it booting to a part where it says [PCI Configuration Begin] and then it just stops...

You should try to pass the:

npci=0x2000

To the kernel.

I'm not sure how that's done with Clover?

Did that, got further, but stalls at:

panic: HPET Not available... CPUs configured incorrectly

after some time. I think it's something with either the UEFI BIOS on the motherboard or the CPU not being supported...

Even with the following:

-v slide=0 -f -x npci=0x2000 cores=1

It still throws that exception. However, on my work Intel rig, it works fine - OS X Installer boots up like there wasn't any issues (hah, because Apple loves Intel or I've just got a winning combo of parts in the Intel rig).

I think I will try to still get the AMD rig booting, but if it's just to the installer, I'm happy. I'll play around on my Intel Core i3 hackintosh. ;)
