VC0228
Hello Everybody! I installed OS X Yosemite in my Surface Pro. And I updated to DP3. It's running pretty well. But it still has a few problems. 1. The HDA doesn't work (ALC280). I made a AppleHDA For Mavericks, and I tried to install the kext(AppleHDA) to the Yosmite. It's loaded, But the speaker had no sound(Headphones are OK, and I'm not sure the mic can work or not.). If I use VoodooHDA, the driver can't switch automatically. My driver is in the attached files, please look at it and try to help me to solve the problem, thank you very much. 2. The Wi-Fi still can't work. (Marvell Avastar 88W8797) 3. In view of Wi-Fi can't work, I bought a Usb-WiFi (Tenda W311M, with the Ralink RT2870 chip), it can be used. But when I install the driver of the usbwifi, I cannot shutdown(In the fact, I can shutdown, but I can not actually power off) and reboot(It can't restart, it change to shutdown automatically ,but it wasn't power off too. ) Apple release a patch to fix the problem, but the patch is only for the Mavericks 10.9.2, if i install the patch on another version, the system kernel will crash. I wish somebody can help me to solve these problems, thanks! VC228 ALC280.zip

VC0228
Hi JahStories, Thank you for help, here the problem I found: I tried the VoodooHDA, it do can be used, but it can't switch automatically between the speaker & headphone(Auto jack detection) (That's the situation for output, I guess the input & HDMI too.) If I install the AppleHDA, the speaker will be mute. I guess the configdata and & pathmaps had no problem.
JahStories
the new v.0.5.1 FilesPackage now provides patched AppleHDA for both Maverick and Yosemite. I'm closing this thread, point to the main guide for more.
