muzzieman Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 Hi guys, I need some urgent help my system that has run perfectly for three years has just locked up so i had to power down, now when i try to boot i get a warning"bad display config block signature ERROR: nVidia ROM patching failed!" my machine then goes to the apple logo with a loading bar underneath gets about 10% across does it again and then turns off! I had this system built for me so don't really no whats in the box except its based on the gigabyte motherboard, has my graphics card died? i was using adobe after effects cs6 and tried to open a file i had exported in quicktime when the machine locked up. any help greatly appreciated as i have urgent work that needs to be delivered! oh and i'm running 10.6.8.
