kirb
Hi. I've spent all day trying to work out how to get the 10.9.2 installer to boot via Clover... I always end up with a panic: "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\"." I've tried various combinations of -v-x -f GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000, manually adding FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to /EFI/clover/kexts/10.9, and pretty much anything I could find googling that line; no luck. Any ideas? These are the instructions I followed: http://www.skylineosx.com/installation/configuring-clover/ + http://www.skylineosx.com/installation/bios-configuration/. Previously I also tried https://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-10-8-mountain-lion/ with the same result. I've also seen some reports that 10.9.0 would work but would I be able to upgrade back up to 10.9.4 without problems? Specs: Gigabyte H97-D3H Core i5-4460 (a Haswell) Intel HD Graphics 4600 16GB RAM ASUS 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter

kirb
I see: 8:00:29 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 32 33 ] 8:00:30 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 32 33 34 ] 8:00:43 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 8 32 33 34 ] 8:03:13 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 8 34 ] 8:03:13 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 8 32 34 ] 8:03:13 am kernel: AICPUPMI: [ 8 32 33 34 ] If you mean the top menu bar, no it's not translucent. Actually I had to disable all AppleIntelHD* kexts to stop it from hanging during boot; which should I enable?

Pimentel
Hallo Ok... let's make some steps to make your system work: Donwload Hakintosh Vietnam, you gonna use this app to configure all: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296669-hackintosh-vietnam-ultimate-aio-tool-for-hackintosh/* In the section CPU choose the CPU/Model of your computer (it will serve to create your SMBIOS within config.plist file)* In SSDT section, select the Custom option, config.plist will be created on your desktop and you put this in EFI/Clover folder* In Section Kext select AICPUPM patch (something like that lol) to correct AICPUPM and make OSX work well for you ...* In section Grafik select an ideal option for your grafica intel ... up to you to configure and view the model description and screen resolution* After selecting some important settings, but does not select anything useless or will mess up all your hard work* If I am not mistaken in section Kext has the option to install FakeSMC, install this kext because it is very important for OSX and is the only kext really necessary.*In Tools section select SSDT generate, to generate a SSDT in Extra folder in HDD, get this SSDT from Extra folder and put in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched folder, after that delete Extra folder in HDD After... report sucess
kirb
Went through all that and now I can't boot - hangs waiting for the root device.
Pimentel
Hello Did you configure your Bios??? What select in Hackintosh Vietnam wizard???
kirb
Got it sorted; through trial and error I found that I needed to set ACPI -> SSDT -> DropOem to false instead of true. Now the About this Mac window does say HD Graphics 4600, but I still can't enable translucent menu bar. (Selected all options you mentioned in Hackintosh Vietnam as well as VoodooHDA.)
