PGHammer21B Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 While it's apparent that Yosemite supports LGA1150 (both Haswell and Devil's Canyon), so far I have heard nit of any issues with Intel Z97 (the preferred CHIPSET for the latter. I refuse to assume anything, so I'm asking if there have been any issues with this latest Intel semi-mainstream chipset. The motherboard I have in mind would be the ASRock Z97 Extreme4. Specifically: 1. Onboard audio does not work/no sound (AppleHDAController binary edit required), see Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC 2. HD4600 graphics is not enabled/boot hangs (Mavericks/Azul/plist edit, Yosemite/no known HD4600 fix/install discrete graphics) 3.
