abakobo Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 hi and thanks for the time you spend on forums helping people! i've a Gigabyte z87x-ud3h motherboard with a intel hasweel i74400K cpu and no extra graphic cards it's now too long for me trying to boot my 10.9.3 with hd4600 drived correctly so i'm asking some questions here probably noob questions... i installed 10.9.3 with myhack and the install ran smooth and fast. then i used latest multib**st to post-install with setup from different succefull installs in forums (all without dsdt). But mine is stuck on the famous bluetooth line.... so i suppose it's a hd4600 problem. i'd like to learn how to hackintosh and add kexts without that tool in order to understand OsX better as it could not get me a working computer with it's wizard.. and i see the guy is not appreciated on the hackintosh scene. i've done so many reboots and installs now... i think i should stop experiments and try and go further with knowledge... i tried all the boot flags like igpEnabler,graphicsEnabler,dart=0,-f but only -x works so i cannot do anything with that computer. i've seen that it could work with intelAzulFB=8 or 9 or 10 but didn't (is it usefull to try all the 0>15?) i aloso tried this method http://giuliomac.wordpress.com/2014/03/03/how-to-enable-intel-hd4600-natively-on-your-hackintosh/ but bluetooth line again it has randomly boot correctly when using myHack only but never again so i wonder if some adresses are not changing from boot to boot... what i think should work when i read forums with the same specific harware: graphicsEnabler=Yes IGPEnabler=No IntelAzulFB=8 or 9 or 10 (tried those 3 ones) here are my questions: is it usefull to try all intelAzulFB if i've never seen someone with my hardware using other than those ones will a clover bootloader install work better and wich install method would you suggest for this? (i read in some forums that clover is better with hd4600) Is clover ok for dualboot with W7/8? how can i know for sure (if possible) what are the id_platforms, pciroot_uid, IntelAzulFB number,.... without rebooting all the time till it works (loosing a lot of time and getting stuck on bluetooth..) so i can be sure if it's not booting it's not because those vales are false... ? would a dsdt inject help me (i know i'll have to do this anyway to get hdmi audio work so why not get hd4600 fully work this way) and which tuto/method would you suggest me is myhack a good installer? i see that it adds myhack.kext so it doesn't look realy clean.. could it be the problem. i suppose all installer do virtualy the same thing. Wich installer would you suggest me for this case? while booting the screen shows these infos about intel PU intel device info class code 0300 intel hd graphics 4600[8086:0412] (rev06) subsys [1458:d000] PciRoot (0x0)/pci(0x2,0x0) using default ip-platform-id of 0d220003 finaly in summary what would you suggest me to do to get it work with a minimal number of rebbots and other timewaste? the MB itself seems to work well... in particular: Wich install method would you suggest me and and wich post-install method would you suggest me?
