mac_Man
Hello, I have a Macbook Pro 2010 containing Mac OS X 10.9.3, Windows 7 and Linux Mint 16. I always was able to select either OS using REfit. I decided to upgrade Linux Mint to v 17. So I burned a DVD with the downloaded ISO image and installed Linux on /dev/sda5/ (root). BUT I also selected to have the bootloader installed on /dev/sda5/. I think that messed things up... Installation went fine but after reboot I got a GRUB bootloader (instead of the REfit bootloader) with 4 choices: Linux Mint 17 Linux Mint 17 (Recovery mode) Mac OS X (32bit) Mac OS X (64bit) Both Mac options result in a text screen ending with errors. I can only boot Linux. So I scrambled the bootloader. Ilost the REfit bootloader that lets me choose beteen Mac OS, Windows and Linux. Mac OS and Windows 7 are still there, I can see them from Linux, I can´t boot them. How can I restore REFit? Preferebly without reinstalling Mac OS X.. Thanks, Marc
