JahStories Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 its super buggy Menubar items and finder aren't in black mode yet, it should need this too(still incomplete): Open your /System/Library folder by clicking Go >> Computer on the Apple menu bar, click your Yosemite drive then go to System >> Library Open the CoreServices folder Right click SystemAppearance.bundle and choose Show Package Contents Open Content >> Resources Rename “DarkAppearance.car” to “GraphiteAppearance.car” Open System Preference >> General Under Appearance switch from Blue to Graphite Logout and log back in Source: cultofmac 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Finder shows white text, and the white Apple, on the dark background, as is proper - however, the MenuBar text and icons are unchanged - oopies.) It reminds me a lot of the current Visual Studio IDE (Windows) - which has a dark theme as the default. Once they fix the MenuBar, it will work MUCH better.
