Hi,

I too have been trying to install Mavericks on my EX58-UD5 board but I believe that my GeForce 9800GTX+ 512 video card is causing my problems.

I have looked around the internet to see many who have "real" but older Macs that can use Mavericks are needing to upgrade their video cards to make it work.

I have used digital_dreamer's Hackinstaller scripting tool to build the USB loader and install Mavericks but, I can not get it to come alive when I try to boot the disk drive its loaded to. BTW - digital_dreamer has been developing his Hackinstaller for many years and he has developed a really good scripted process to install MacOS X. Look him up on this web site.

It is my opinion that a low end or older video card will not run Mavericks on a hackintosh.
