lemarqq
Hello everyone. I installed OS X Mavericks on my PC, everything works fine, except my sound card, which is Creative Sound Blaster Xtreme Gamer. I mean, i have no sound at all. Would you, please, help me ? I searched with Google, but couldn't find a driver for OS X. Thanks in advance. Gringo Vermelho
There are two ways to get certain models of X-Fi cards working on OS X. I don't remember anymore what the requirements are but I do remember that only a few specific X-Fi models will work. If the kxproject driver doesn't work for you there is a small chance that VoodooHDA will work. If you can't get it working then enable your on board audio in the BIOS and use that for OS X (you can keep it disabled in Windows via the device manager). Of course this means you'll have to either buy a small mixing console or I/O switchbox, or switch plugs every time you boot OS X.
