GA-Z97X-UD5H w/ Intel i7 4790 - Intel HD 4600 activation

Hello,

 

Really appreciate your big, helpful community.. and the most can be found by searching and reading, but this problem is unsolvable for me.

 

Used hardware

Motherboard: GA-Z97X-UD5H with latest BIOS F9

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 (Haswell Refresh, integrated Intel HD 4600)

Display: LG Display connected via HDMI (if that is important)

 

Software

OS X 10.9.3

Ozmosis 820M Bios with FakeSMC v6.9.1315

 

I tried to patch my DSDT, but with it patched, boot stalls at

waitForSystemMapper

That message also appears on normal Boots (without patched DSDT), but the system works normal then.

 

I read, that I maybe need the "Intel MEI Haswell" Patch from PJALM Graphics Repo. But it seems that I also need the Intel HD 4600 Injection.

 

It would be highly appreciated if somebody could patch my DSDT

it seems that I also need the Intel HD 4600 Injection.

No support for 9 Series/HD4600; no dsdt patch can fix it. Need OS X/9 Series native release.

Option is a discrete graphics card until 9 Series support lands.

Thanks for the reply. Thats exactly the workaround I chosen - Working perfectly fine with a Nvidia GT610 currently

I used to patch my Z87 DSDT a way and it drove to a functional HD 4600 (4670K)

 

Same patch (GFX0) on Z97, reboot : instafreeze 

 

And a lot of compiling errors to fix... i mean.. a lot
