My setup is correct, i've appleHDA and DSDT in mavericks working well.
Speakers connected to green port of back panel.
I don't need hdmi audio. :)

you are sure that your setup is correct?
do not use HDMI sound?

already tried to use the conventional method?
honestly do not see much advantage in these methods,
the end result is the same, I update my AppleHDA in less than five minutes.

Is there differences betwen VT1802 and VT1802P? (i can take laptop with VT1802P for testing)

I found guy who patched VT1802P for int. mic/mic, but can't contact him. (link)

I never correct a AppleHDa for this codec, so it is not on the list.

you can send me a codec_dump the topic      AppleHDA Patch Requests.

Hello Myron, I did the installation until the DP6 but no sound, I took your advice as to post # 645 (Use kextutility, it will add the AppleHDA as an exception to That list.) At each update but no sound, I do not know what to think about the pc with chameleon goes like a splinter I miss the sound and Bluetooth while updating DP4 and DP5 sees no modification.
If you need some more information are available

if you use clover check your config.plist
Set config.plist/SystemParameters/InjectKext /YES

Hi Myron my installation is done with Chameleon, he consgliato chris1111 put kext-dev-mode = 1 in org.chameleon. boot .plist

for my sound card ALC898 AppleHDA and the dsdt package AppleHDA ALC889-265.88-  :thumbsup_anim:

After double-click the file to install kext Yosemite chris1111

ITS repairing and cache rebuilder

reboot and testing

and as I immediately had the sound  :D

I just wanted to satisfy a curiosity the dsdt and AppleHDA working with clover has ID = 32 while it has ID = 9

thanks Myron is now almost complete

greetings Perdu
