MrFunEGUY Posted June 8, 2014 Share Posted June 8, 2014 Hello All,My Hackintosh is not detecting my external speaker setup. It's just two speakers that connect via USB and the green audio jack. The computer will not recognize them whether I put them into my motherboard or front panel audio. However, if I put my Turtle Beaches into either the mother board or the front panel audio, my system will recognize them. I know for a fact that the speakers are not defective, as they work with both my Mavericks MacBook (non-hackintosh) and worked with my Windows 8.1 setup prior to Hackintoshing. Any help in getting them to work would be great. My System:CPU: Intel Core i5-3470OS: Mavericks 10.9.2Motherboard: ASRock z75 Pro3Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GBStorage: Samsung 840 120GB SSD & Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TBGPU: XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GBPSU: Corsair Builder 430W (CX430) I've installed the ALC892 audio kext, but I don't even think that's the problem because my headphones work through the Mobo anyway.
