Linux4life
Problem Greetings ! I've been trying to install Mavericks on an HP Notebook. I used the already created USB raw file from olarila and created the installer as instructed. The issue is that when i use clover with "-v " and kernel lapic patch in its options and start the install a huge amount of text scrolls with no visible errors but then the screen blanks out and remains black...i tried to leave it for around 5mins and there was no change i force shut down the laptop and the laptop wouldn't boot again or even power on. The cmos reset helps me get it back to life . Any suggestions on how i can install mavericks on this hardware? iFIRE
try this flag: rd=diskXsY where X your HD and Y your Partition where you want to install
