Is my clover installation good enough?

Hi guys! I've been using my Hackintosh for about 8 months and I've been enjoying it. I've used Chimera as a bootloader but I've always wanted to try clover as I learned more and more about hackintosh.

Today I followed this guide:

http://www.skylineosx.com/installation/switching-from-chameleonchimera-to-clover/

I set up clover and the bios according to the guide above. As I understand clover injects the kexts that it needs, and takes them from the "EXTRA"-folder that chimera creates?

My system seem to work pretty good with clover and I'm wondering if I should tweak the clover configuration anymore?

I'm using GA-z87x-ud3h and i7 4770k.

Now that I'm using clover is my system more "vanilla" although I used Chimera to install OS X? (Or is it preferred to reinstall OS X with clover to get a more "vanilla" system).

My last question is regarding the log-in screen. I've a black box showing up during the logging in. It doesn't affect the performance but looks rather odd and I want to remove it if possible.
