Mountain Lion Live System - Issues?

I've heard that the Live DVD method for Leopard works for Snow Leopard, but I'm trying to do this for Mountain Lion.  I figured it shouldn't be too much different.  So, I've been following this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=151861

However, I am using an updated version of Chameleon as (correct me if I'm wrong) the version mentioned won't boot Lion systems, let alone Mountain Lion/Mavericks systems.  So, I am using the version of Chameleon included in myHack.  Yet, when I boot from the drive, it's detecting my main system drive and not the partition that has the live system on.  I'm testing it in the stage to see if it works.

In other words, where the guide says something like "It's time to test the target media", I boot from the drive, expecting to see my target media partition.  But it isn't one of the boot options for whatever reason!

Can anyone help me?  Thanks in advanced!
