dreadkopp Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 Aloha community. i installed Mountain Lion on my Vostro 1510 (core2duo 5870, 8400gs, 965 chipset) everything works fine now (had to fix battery and ethernet. also switched wireless card to a compatible one) I am left with two problems: first: sound is crackeling. it's a alc268 hd chip. right now i am using voodoohda. second: according to hw sensors my CPU is stuck at 2 GHz. how to enable Speedstep? greetings! dreadkopp Posted June 1, 2014 Author Share Posted June 1, 2014 recognized that the myhack.kext had NullCPUPowerManagement in it. removed it et voila: speedstep works! with smbios of MacBook 5,1 it works okay. need to edit it a bit since it is switching alot. someone any ideas for audio?
