Nobody15000 Posted June 2, 2014 Share Posted June 2, 2014 It looks ugly. Steve Jobs designed the original OS-X interface as skeumorphic for a reason, yosemite is just plain out flat and boring. Using a boring flat design is like going back to the 90s and 80s when computers had those flat non-skeumorphic designs. They should at least offer us an option to use the old UI or the new (ugly) UI. That may be true for pure text based UIs, but just take a look at those old graphical UIs ... not exactly flat and non-skeuomorphic imho And actually, a "boring" UI is a good thing, since it then does not distract me from the more important parts on my screen. And as a strictly-Android type of person, that means this new update is just a pack of bloat that I'll never use. I just hope all those new "features" don't hog the system resources.
