I got this x200CA for Christmas and it's just been sitting on my desk for months since. I didn't have a use for it until I decided to try and install Mavericks on it.

Felt like OS X would go great on it, since it's such a cute little thing.

I managed to get OS X installed using this guide (after trail and error, retry, delete, format, add in, remove kext, format, install, kernal panic, format, remove more, install and boot). Right now, I have to have the installer USB in to actually boot, because whenever I try installing Chameleon to the HDD and reboot, it just goes straight to the UEFI/BIOS setup and does not show my hard disk.

I do not have sound working yet.

I don't think I will get the original WLAN card working, so I was planning on purchasing a Broadcom DW1510 and seeing if that would work (searched up and saw it works out of box).

I got the keyboard and mouse working! (REAL PAIN IN THE ASS TOO!)

I cannot get my single USB 3.0 port working, whenever I try the universal USB3 fix in somesillyprogram (I know you guys don't like tony, but I couldn't find the kext anywhere. Didn't work anywho, LOL) it appears to work (i.e. makes lights go off on flash drives when before it would not blink and lock the computer up until force shutdown) but it also disables one of my two USB 2.0 ports.

And I do not know if it is possible to get the touchscreen function to work under OS X, which would be pretty cool.

LAN is not yet working, tethering via USB to my Galaxy S3 for internet at the moment.

This isn't my first OSX86, it's just been a couple years since I've stepped back into the arena.

I'll try and update this on what exactly I did to get it to install and to where I am now for anyone else who has one of these.

The computer really looks like it was made for OS X with the oversized trackpad and the small portability that almost makes it looks like a netbook.

Specifications:

Intel Celeron 1007U

Intel HM70 Express Chipset

4GB DDR3 1333 MHz

Not sure about the specifics on the Intel HD Graphics

It's still pretty new, can't find much about the damn thing. I would appreciate any help or tips anyone has, would like to see this working flawlessly.

Thanks!

Did that help you any? I still can't get the bootloader to work on the internal HDD with the UEFI/BIOS on this thing.

Managing off of one USB port too, both my other USB2.0 and USB3.0 port crash the computer now. I probably ended up installing a wrong .kext
