Hi! I am installing OS X Mavericks, but i am not sure about this.

I want to dual-boot windows and OS X In my HDD.

Many people recommend install OS X and Windows in another HDD.

But I cannot do that.

I have 2TB HDD.

Windows 7 is installed, and there is Second Partition (D Drive)

So, the question is, Can I install OS X and dual-boot it with Win7 without formatting Windows 7?

I am wondering it..

Thank you!

yes.you can use chameleon bootloader for windows。then you must add it to “windows boot manager“ with some application like easybcd。IMPORTANT, YOU NEED THE DMG OR OTHER SOURCE  OF OS X Mavericks HAS PATCHED FOR MBR PARTITION TABLE. GIVE YOU THE FILE HAS PATCHED FOR mbr  :http://pan.baidu.com/s/1pJ14bLh

how use: use the application "transmac" restore it to usb. maybe you need add your kext into EXTRA FOLDER.

enjoy.

I patched my install usb.

Then, i can install OS X into MBR Partition.. Right?

I mean.. in the disk utillity of OS X Installer, there is "Option".

And in there, i can choose GUID, Apple blah blah, and Master Boot Record.

then i choose mbr, and partition it with Mac OS (HFS), and install OS X into that partition.

is it possible..?

OR, select GUID?
