OwlC4ke
Dear fellow mac lovers, I have just purchased my first OSX computer and am totally happy about it. I have chosen to go for my favorite design, the clamshell G3 Indigo. I have just one little issue with it, it runs 10.3, and I want it to run 10.4, illegally of course because Tiger is way too expensive for my taste. What I have tried is download multiple ISO and DMG files, and burn them to a cd. Some of them did turn out okay, and they were bootable. but as soon as I was halfway the setup it all got stuck. I tested some other ways of burning, but it all turned out badly. Now I am trying to get a virtual machine running, and create a disc image that will be copied to the hard drive. But I cannot find the right VM software to run PowerPC. Help! Any idea is welcome.
JahStories
crazy idea, that's surely gonna be terribly slow with tiger! but if you really wanna try use a firewire external drive with the image restored on it. i would suggest you to use macos9 for better performances! p.s. the clamshell is one of my favorite ppc macs along side the imac g4 too

Good idea to use the firewire/ Is a firewire disc bootable? Then I could try to put the iso on that.
