SSD with GPT doesn't boot

Hi there!

I have another problem. I've changed my HDD to SSD with GUID schema, and my system doesn't boot up. But if I use a HDD with GUID partition, everything is ok. System is booting up normally.

What is wrong? I have HP Probook 4530s with UEFI support. Maybe change a bootloader to Clover will resolve my problem? I don't know…

where does it stuck ?

( screenshot, etc.)

did you install chameleon or clover on the new ssd ( stupid question)

Yes, you have right. Below you can find the screenshoots. I didn't install any bootloader on the new SSD drive. I've made a backup from whole HDD by paragon backup & recovery 2014 free, and then I've restored an image to SSD

6. But when I choose a USB device with ##### installed in, I can choose boot my SSD and system is booting up.

in boot options try boot from EFI file , or first to test it, try install first to  a USB FAT32 Formated, in the installer clover try mode UEFI and install all drivers to uefi

:)  I didn't install any bootloader on the new SSD drive.=

if you not have installed the boot loader to your new SSD how you want that the HD boot ? :P

try install Clover boot loader  to  a USB  Formated in FAT32, in the installer Clover Choooooose mode UEFI and install all drivers to UEFI Mode

then if you can boot with the USB, go to desktop and make the same, Install Clover , but now to your HD

quick way:

copy your hd with ccc ( carboncopycloner) in osx to your ssd.

( there are invisible files, that are not copied, if you dont use the right stuff)

then install a bootloader like chameleon or clover

( i would not prefer tony beasts, cause that stuff is a little intransparent)

if your hd booted well, your ssd, after that procedure, should do either.

better way: install clover first on an usb ( to see if everything runs smooth)

then install it to your ssd, then you have a nice and crispy efi-boot.

I don't know, which flags should I use to resolve the resolution problem ;( As I said, I have HP Probook 4530s with Intel HD Graphic 3000 build in. After the Mavericks installation, I've used the HP Probook Installer to install all kexts and stuff. Chameleon was installed too by this installer. In the options, I've choose in display mode low resolutions and everything is ok.

Someone can help me fix my resolution problem?

For the ProBook 4530s there is a guide (actually, two of them) on another site.

If you don't know what you're doing, I'd suggest you follow the guide.

Make sure you read the guide carefully. Clue for the day: The options you've used for DSDT patching in your photo will not work and demonstrates clearly you didn't read very carefully.

Yes, point for you, because I don't understand the guide :/ I need more time for that, I guess, but I am so impatient for that! :P
