I have a working USB Mavericks installer for the AMD FX I have (see signature for full specs) and it installed mavericks without any trouble. I'm just wondering if I would need additional kexts for a board I'm getting which uses AMD 780G/SB700 chipsets. For the 990FX board on my signature, I needed: realtek kext for my LAN sandbox.kext system.kext voodoohda.kext for sound (not really important as I won't be using it that requires sound) here's a link to the board: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2995#bios.
