About:

The AMD DMG is for post install assistance for AMD CPU based systems. Everything you will need is provided on the DMG. There is no extra files or fancy tricks just the basics so that your system is fully functional and stable. What I need from AMD users is DSDT and IOreg Extract with BIOS version. Please post your files here.

If you do not know how to obtain these files I have guides that can be found here:

http://rampagedev.wo...w-to-use-ioreg/

http://rampagedev.wo...-your-own-dsdt/

The SSDT table on the DMG is the most important item. This has patches and fixes for your system allowing you to gain  full functionality. Please only use these files after a clean install.

The DMG can be found here:

I'm not exactly sure what any of this means, but I guess if it can help the AMD community, I'll give it a shot. Attached are the IOReg and DSDT for the ASUS M4A77TD as per the directions in the links provided.

This initiative deserves all our support!

Here`s the files: Attached File  ECS-A780LM-M2 (v.1.0).zip   377.7KB   14 downloads

Unfortunately, I cannot boot with DSDT=No, so I cannot provide a "virgin" DSDT with an IOReg from a no-DSDT system. Hope my current DSDT and the IOReg generated by my system (BTW, Lion 10.7.5) running with it are both up to the task.

All the best!

Hello Rampag Dev, may have some user here not quite understand what they need exactly, but this is actually easy to understand.

  1. You will need the unpatched and unadjusted (no compilation) DSDT.aml
  2. or you need a ready patched and adjusted (with compilation) DSDT.aml

sorry if I ask this question, since not all users have a ready patched and adjusted DSDT.aml in use, if this variant project for the required

Basically I just need the DSDT to verify the names and address before I make the SSDT. With a patched DSDT some of the names might have been changed from the standard ones. And since thats what you have done in your case I need the original names so when you remove your DSDT the SSDT will load.

I need a Clean DSDT. Thanks.

The clean DSDT is feasible - I'll just boot from an Ubuntu live USB and extract it. The problem is the IOReg: the only one I can provide is the one I provided you, using the "unclean" DSDT to boot my system - otherwise it simply won't boot to OSX. That was my concern. If my clean DSDT plus "unclean" IOReg combo is enough, I'll provide them later today.

All the best!

I am not using the DSDT so that does not matter.

Here ssdt and dsdt from my m3n78eh -

all fixed and all work fine and sleep too

i spend a lot of time to finish this work

(hpet, lpcb, pegp, prw system and state system, rtc, ipic, and other stuff )

( for usb i delete dsm method cause i'm currently using patched kext by slice  , but if i found the time for testing sleep without usb kext workaround i'll update my post here )
also i'll update this post with original ssdt and dsdt from my mobo
ps: bios 0503
