linuxhaxor36
Here are the exact specs of my machine http://acersupport.com/acerpanam/desktop/0000/Acer/AspireM5630/AspireM5630sp2.shtml I have this PC and I'm wondering where I should start to install OSX.9 Mavericks to my PC. I think I still would like to use this processor because in my experience it has been fast enough to do multi tasking on windows. Although the internet says otherwise, my Intel quad Q6600 processor seems to be faster than my 2012 non-retina mbp with intel i5 processor. The stock motherboard will only allow me to go up to 4gb which could be ok because I have a 480GB SSD lying around. So should I just upgrade the PSU, GPU and possibly the motherboard? Can I run 10.9 Mavericks on an intel core 2 quad series? thank you

I'm still wondering if I should go with my current build, or buy another mb with the 45nm processor compatible with this core 2 quad I have in my box already.
