Hi,

Im in a confusing situation.  I own a PC running Windows 7 Pro x86 which has an MBR partitioned 250 gig HDD. I want to dual boot mac os x 10.8 and windows 7. My mobo seems to be compatible for mac as well as GPT. So how to install mac os x retail without losing any DATA. I heard about Partition Manager which safely transforms MBR to GPT safely. So after converting to GPT how can I do a Dual Boot with Chimera\Chaemeleon ????????

Waiting for a noob friendly reply :)

I bought this older bold for only hackintoshing (Hopeful  !)

You need only 3 step's(not need to get GPT):

Create one partition for Mac(fat32)50GB with Windows

Create Mac USB installer and get MBR patch(for your version...etc..10.8xxx) on installer :hysterical:

Boot  USB installer and go to Utilities menu..reformat your partition(Erase Fat32)and format to Mac OS Extended(Journaled)

Now install :D

Result is-500 gb HDD(Master Boot Record)
