iAtkos boot loader on second HD

Hi There,

A while back now i installed Mountain Lion on What used to be my main hard drive which was partitioned with windows. I recently purchased an ssd and cloned my main Hard drives windows installation onto the ssd and used the old windows partition for storing media.

My issue is that i am unable to boot into the Mountain Lion partition which is still there. I had an idea that maybe i could install the iAtkos boot loader (which i used previously) on to the second HD and i could use the bios to boot into that HD and therefore be able to access the iAtkos boot loader.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix my problem then i would be very grateful if you could include a step by step instruction guide as i havent used the mac partition for a while now.

Many Thanks,

Shenstone

Assuming your current hard drive is formatted MBR, you should be able to use the Windows bootloader to chainload chameleon on the Mountain Lion partition of the old drive (NB IATKOS did not create the boot loader so there is no such thing as an "IATKOS bootloader").

See my post in @franco_marchesotti's dual booting thread on using EasyBCD to achieve this.
