Areeb Qaisar
Hello. I am using Lenovo G510 with Haswell and HD4600. However, when I boot into Mavericks, I get stuck up when its the time to load the Graphics (After Bluetooth). To ensure this, I boot up with the -x boot argument and it did boot up to Desktop. As per this Topic on Insanely Mac I deleted the Graphics Kext, and then I was able to boot without the -x argument. But obviously the Graphics are not good in that Case. I have read on the forums about enabling the Graphics by using IntelAzulFB and AAPL Graphics IDs etc etc buy they wil obviously work once AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext is present. Right ? And I deleted that. And when AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext is present I cannot boot at all !!!! My Graphics ID is 416, so please help me what should I do now ? I want to boot with the Graphics Kexts Present :-(
everdone
Since you likely did not backup the Graphics kexts before deleting them, reinstall OSX, boot with -x flag and add the appropriate Graphics flags to the boot.plist file in Extra and then reboot. If you have the kexts backed up, boot in to OSX, restore the kexts to S/L/E using a kext install utility, add the desired Graphics flage to the boot.plist and reboot. Areeb Qaisar
Thanks everdone. I did backed up the Graphics Kexts before deleting them. I will restore them to S/L/E as per your suggestions. But after restoring I am only able to boot with the -x Flag. What are the possible Graphics flags that are you are talking about ? Like IntelAzulFB etc ? I have tried all possible values of IntelAzulFB from 0 to 15, with Graphics Kexts located inside S/L/E. But none of them worked and in all cases, the startup process just hanged after the loading of Bluetooth (i.e. when its the time to load the Kext) If you are referring to some other Graphics flags that can be of help, please let me know. Thanks alot :-)
everdone
With the kexts replaced in S/L/E and using Graphics key ( IntelAzulFB, etc) boot with -f flag. Also, you need GraphicsEnabler=Yes key and you should be using the latest (or near so) version of Chameleon.
Areeb Qaisar
Yeah I am using Chameleon 2.2 svn r2377 downloaded from here. I have used GraphicsEnabler=Yes and all possible values of IntelAzulFB also. But I didn't used the -f argument. So let me try the 15 IntelAzulFB Values using the -f and also GraphicsEnabler=Yes. and then I will let you know the updated status.
Areeb Qaisar
It just didn't worked with Chameleon :-( I then switched to Clover, and then after some effort it is working perfecting with Clover. The IG Platform IDs that worked for me are 0x0A260005 and 0x0A260006. Now still there is a lot do. Sound etc etc :-(

bobymc
PS: on Clover just add GraphicsEnabler=No to the boot arguments for those having trouble on GPU Cheers
