SURFACE PRO: Color Profile - Accurate Colors on Surface Pro 2 Screen

I was not extremely pleased with the colors I got with the default OSX installation on the Surface Pro 2, so I found the best Color Profile (attached) for the job.

Unzip the attachment and copy-paste the Surface Pro OSX.icc to Library/ColorSync/Profiles

1. Choose the SurfacePro-OSX profile in Display (Color) options under System Preferences, which should show more accurate colors.

Lastly, I just like to increase the contrast abit

2. You can do so by slightly increasing the Enhance Contrast option within the Accessibility under System Preferences.

Unfortunately we need to repeat the 2nd step on every restart for now...its a very small effort in order to get the best out of the Pro's screen.

*Havnt tested on Surface Pro 1, not sure how accurate this profile would be for it.

Is that color profile, you've found, for the SurfacePro or SurfacePro2? I'd like to know

where it came from or who did create it in the first place. I thought investing in a color

tool, but since i know my monitors such good over the years i can live without it now.

Thanks, Floflood

Hi Flo,

These are slightly modified versions of some existing profile i found online (I started collecting profiles when my wife got her LG screen MacbookAir and I hated the color settings on hers compared to my Samsung MBA screen).

Do not invest in color tools, not worth the 100$. Did the profile look okay on your SP1?
