treyhamilton25
I have everything installed but I am stuck on the verbose screen after the Bluetooth thing. I attached a pic. The Args I've used range from just simple -f -v -x to throwing in PCIRootUID=1 cpus=1 and GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No. What is the trick to this? lol
insideTheFlux
npci=0x2000? replace mach_kernel?
mnfesq
Do you have FakeSMC.kext installed. It looks like it is stuck waiting for DSMOS. If it's not that, then it is likely your video kexts. You got past the ACPI kp that comes when there is no Lapic patch. You're pretty close to getting booted up. BTW - I have the HP Envy 17t-3200 CTO. treyhamilton25
npci=0x2000? replace mach_kernel? I tried those Do you have FakeSMC.kext installed. You're pretty close to getting booted up. BTW - I have the HP Envy 17t-3200 CTO. FakeSMC was installed in the Extra/Extensions folder. I tried to move the video kexts to a backup folder and got the same results. It was SO much easier to install it on my HP g7. I've been working on this laptop for the past 3-4 days trying different methods. I have the mach_kernal patched like it's supposed to be. Everywhere else I read says that when the last line is bluetooth it has to do with graphics. Maybe I need to move my intel graphics? Or ALL? iFIRE
-f -x -v GraphicsEnabler=No cpus=1 and yes, remove all Graphics kexts from USBInstaller
mnfesq
Don't use Extra/Extentions. That is really an obsolete method. Everything needs to go into S/L/E. Put FakeSMC.kext in S/L/E and see if you don't get further in the boot process.
treyhamilton25
I finally got it to boot the I ran into boot0 error, fixed it quickly. Changed out my wifi card with an atheros one from a spare machine. Now my problems are sound, graphics (QE/CI), and soon iMessages. I'm wanting to get this stuff fixed pretty soon though. It's gunna be pretty great. ^.^ Edit: FYI, I am absolutely NO GOOD at DSDT edits. I never really got too far into it and I never really understood it too much. treyhamilton25
Yea, I looked that over and done what I couple without dsdt edits and ssdt's. I'm not sure what to do with those. They are 'clean' and require edits. As I've stated before, I don't really know how to do all that. I got my graphics to read as HD 4600 with 64 shared memory, but that's not right and it's still choppy. VoodooHDA causes me to KP even with AppleHDA gone. I'm going to try to work on it some more tomorrow I guess.
mnfesq
Here are tips to getting VoodooHDA.kext working: http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=454 If you can get it working, I can help you find your subwoofer device so that you can get your subwoofer to work like mine does.
