fantomas
hi your AppleHDA.kext is not loaded, do you use a patched AppleHDA.kext? maybe you should repair permissions and rebuild kernel cache. Use kext wizard for this try to boot with -v -f flags if you freeze on this error
vamose
Currently booting with: UseKernelCache=No -f -v (KP without UseKernelCache=No -f) Yes I am trying to get audio to work, deleted the original AppleHDA and installed patched AppleHDA, although no luck with sound. DSDT edits have been made for sound. Infact, do we need to install the KextWizard of just run it form desktop? When ever I provide the boot flag options in org.chamaleon.boot.plist, for some reason it is not accounted at the boot. Is there any other way to fix? fantomas
not matter if Kext Wizard is in your Application's folder or on your Desktop anyway, this error is something due to the problem with your patched kexts for your audio maybe it is better to use forum search feature to find more infos about how to get work your audio

fantomas
as I said, it will be a better idea if you start at first with your sound issue submit your request here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293863-applehda-patch-requests/ good luck
vamose
Thanks fantomas1 for your feedback. I have the appleHDA which were working prior to Lion OSX reinstall. The intel mobo take ALC888s codecs. My major issue is in installation of AppleHDA.Kext, if I am trying to use KextWizard I get all the errors stated above. But if I choose to install ALC888 AppleHDA.Kext using MuliBeast tool, no errors are prompted at boot. But ofcourse since the codec is not correct, there is no audio. Can you recommend any other installation option of the kext file. Attached is the AppleHDA file, please suggest on the right installation procedure.
