Hi all,

Rather than attaching my problem to another thread, I thought I would post a new one to keep the thread nice and clean.

I'm new to Mac/Hackintosh and I'm trying to build one of my own. I have completed a successful installation but then the system won't boot the OS. No amount of switches i.e. -v -x -s -f etc. at the boot prompt will get me past a blank screen and hanging system.

Here are my system specs:

CPU: Intel Celeron D CPU 330 2.66GHz / cpu cores 1 / system bus 533 MHz/
Motherboard: Intel D915GRV vAAC72183-107
BIOS: Intel EV91510A.86A.0431.2005.0324.1533 03/24/2005
RAM: 2552MB
Disk: PCI ATA  732.57GB
Graphics: VESA v3.0 Intel 915G/915GV/910L Graphic 7872KB
NIC: Marvell 88E8050 PCI-E ASF Gigabit Ethernet

Here is the troublesome part of the bootlog of my hackintosh:
No SMBIOS replacement found.

Found SMBIOS System Information Table 1
Using SMBIOS UUID='cf91e9b0-8eda-111d9-bc36-001111989417' as system-id

Using system-type=0x01
No DSDT replacement found. Leaving ACPI data as is
Starting Darwin x86

I think there are problems with SMBIOS, DSDT.aml and VGA controller in the bootlog. Can someone help me understand where my problem lies and how to fix it please?

Thanks in advance,
Narvester
