sdwhwk
I am having trouble trying to install maverick on my system. I setup my USB drive and replaced the kernel with one that was AMD compatable. I boot up the drive with npci=0x3000 -v and it freezes at this error: USBF: 7.118 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCompatability - controller will be unloaded across sleep With a frozen cursor. I Attached a picture of the error. How can I fix this? ps: image was right side up when I uploaded it.
Onixs
Try USBBusFix=Yes
sdwhwk
Applied the busfix and it got past it, but now I'm getting a OPEMU: ud2 error. Tried to apply the rollback fix, but then back to the same problem, different number. I got the app from the app store recently, so I'm assuming the installer is 10.9.2. sdwhwk
Ok. Downloaded everything from this site to start over. Followed the install instriuctions here. I used USBBusFix=Yes and I got this: Is it possible to run Mavericks on a 8350 and Sabertooth 990fx combo?
sdwhwk
Ok. Was able to acquire Niresh's 10.9 Distro (Niresh site DL link not working for me so I had to search the net) and it installed fine with just using "AMDFX" argument. Now I have a new problem come up. When setting up a new Mac, after a few seconds it will freeze and not let me complete the set up. this happens whether I do nothing, set up net work, or ship network setup and get to the next screen, forgot what it was though, sorry. I have to hard reset to get back to the setup. Any ideas as to what is causing this?
