harkavagrant Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 i have been trying with many different distros to install osx onto my gateway ne56r41u. tried running in vmware to restore images to usb, even used a friends macbook air to no avail. the only disks i can get to boot i have burned being snow leopard 10.6.1 and 10.6.6 (freezes on chameleon).attached is kernel panic from 10.6.1. even used [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to try to boot disks/ vanilla osx lion (10.7.2) and usb installs with no luck. going to keep googling but havnt had much luck other than that page faults are usually command input issues. have tried -v -f arch=i386 and cpus=2 in many combinations also i have a linux distro and windows 8 (why i think i have issues with vmware even with vt bypasser) installed. wanting to triple boot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
