NVIDIA Quadro Passthrough and ESXI w/ OSX VM

Ok, so I was able to get my GTX 465 converted into a Quadro 4000. To test that everything was still working, I passed the card through to my Windows VM and Installed the Quadro Drivers. Everything worked as expected and played some Crysis 2 - both DVI and mini HDMI ports pass video successfully. Prior to this, I had installed the NVIDIA VIBs onto the ESXi host. However, when passing through my OSX Mavericks VM, the card is recognized but no video connection is detected, and nothing will appear on my monitor. I have also installed the latest Quadro Drivers from NVIDIA and have tried using both default and NVIDIA drivers on boot, neither will pass video to my monitor.

Has anyone else been able to get their Quadro Cards working in an OS X VM?

The reason I chose to do a quadro 4000, is to get as close to possible as a Quadro 4000 for Mac. I can if need be, setup the card as a Quadro 5000 or 6000. I would have my GTX 465 stock, however it won't work with PCIe Passthrough.

Any help will be appreciated.

Also, at the moment, I cannot use DSDTs as I cannot get a third party EFI boot loader to work, such as chameleon or clover.

You probably will have to flash a mac specific bios to the card, but even then i would have my doubts.  I was able to use gpu passthrough on the following cards: radeon 6450,radeon 7750, and R9 280x.  This was on esxi 5.5 (w/ donks unlocker of course) running a vanilla mavericks VM.  I get KPs when i plug in displayport and no HDMI audio.  I could pass my nvidia quadro through to my win7 VM, but the mavericks VM would do a reboot loop with any nvidia card

@Tedstevens: FWIW, I'm running a 2 GB PowerColor Radeon HD 7750 Eyefinity4 (4 x Mini-DisplayPort) with GPU Passthrough in Mavericks on ESXi 5.5U1.

I got kernel panics when plugging in Mini-DisplayPort, too. I figured it was because my DELL U2713HM does 1440p @ 60 Hz via DisplayPort, but only 1080p @ 60 Hz via HDMI, and that the higher resolution was causing the problem, but perhaps that is unrelated.

Anyway, it works fine now with Mavericks 10.9.3, and I had gotten it to work previously by installing the AMD kexts from some of the later 10.9.3 betas into 10.9.2.

I haven't tried attaching more than one monitor yet, or resolutions higher than 1440p.
